Last year Hurricane Harvey was devastating to the people of Southeast Texas as well as to their pets. The charity Austin Pets Alive! provided resources for displaced and abandoned pets affected by the storm. A number of New Yorker cartoonists wished to aide the cause. Mick Stevens donated an original New Yorker cartoon (the subject, appropriately, is a rescue animal) and it was put up for sale on eBay with a starting price of just $100. One-hundred percent of the sale price went to the charity.
