Slightly Foxed—But Still Desirable is Ronald Searle's 1989 playful reinterpretation of booksellers' terms. The signed, limited edition of 150 often sells for many hundreds of dollars, but the first ten of the 150 also have original color drawings of cats with books. These go for even more. Here is no. 9 of 150, which was offered at auction yesterday at Freeman's in Philadelphia.

The presale estimate was $1,800 to $2,400.
