Most people, when they think of cartoonist Gahan Wilson, do not consider him a master of understatement. But if we pair a cartoon of his, probably from Playboy, with a contemporary Bogart Creek panel by Derek Evernden, the subtlety of Wilson's composition becomes apparent.
