The Headless Bust (1999) is Edward Gorey's sequel to The Haunted Tea-Cosy (1997). Subtitled A Melancholy Meditation on the False Millenium, the book, Gorey's last, arrived just in time for Y2K. This volume is another "holiday tale" of the sort only Gorey could conceive. This copy is signed on a bookplate, which is not as good as being signed on the title page or on a limitation page, but is much better than not being signed at all.
