Stephen Kroninger sends along three drawings by Mutts cartoonist Patrick McDonnell. The souvenir sketches of Earl (the dog) and Mooch (the cat) were created for Stephen's twin daughters when they were very young. It seems to me they can work their magic for people of any age.
